What's the hot brand for horse trailers?

I'm looking for insurance to do commercial rv transport work, most companies are saying they'll only insure within a certain radius of your origen, I need something that will cover all 48 states.

Any haulers out there with their own insurance wanna tell me who you use and what a reasonable rate is?

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks

I've got "Progressive", there are no reasonable rates!! I think mine costs me about 1800. 00 a yr. , not sure, will have to dig out my policy. They are a good company, real fast service.

I have insurance through Utica. It is a whole company type insurance general liabilty for our construction jobs and the vehicles that our employees pick-ups/trailers and subs drive as well as 18 wheelers we rent.

I called the #800 for Progressive, and was told they don't have a policy for hauling trailers. I had an independent agent look also for me, and they'd only cover a radius of 300 miles.

I'd be interested to know what your policy covers.

I have their commercial ins. , I'm covered anywhere in the US, and drive 100K+ miles a yr. , its 100. 00 ded. on comp. , and 500. 00 ded. on col.

Hey yogibear, email me your agents number if you would, I just called them and was told they won't insure pickups longhaul even just bobtail coverage.

Hager, I am an agent in SC. We insure several towing/hauling companies. Find an independent that writes policies for Interstate Insurance or Clarendon National Insurance.

Here are the numbers to the brokers. They will not deal with you or even tell you who to call but you can give an independent agency their numbers and ask them to call for you.

Interstate Insurance goes through Johnson and Johnson brokers 843-577-1452.

Clarendon National goes through Deep South Underwriters (800) 336-3034.

Remember, you cannot call you have to get the agency to call. Not sure if they write in Washington, but worth a try. Both companies will do unlimited mileage for SC customers.

Good Luck.
