Hauling

I plan on hauling a 22 ft equipment trailer to pick up some lumber in Tennessee. I plan on getting a pintle hook with an adjustable neck. Is there a certain size or weight rating I should get?? And what would be the max amount of weight my 03 3500 6 speed could handle for that kind of run??
