Hello

My buddy has a 1998 Ram 2500 4x4 that was in an accident. The accident was mainly suspension stuff, the front axle snapped in 2 pieces at the dowel pin, the trailing arms that hold the front axle are bent and there are some ball joints and front stabilizer bar that are screwed up also. Is there a place where I can get a front suspension picture and parts list for this vehicle. Also, is there a place where I can get the parts aftermarket ?? Energy Suspension for the bushings but does someone sell the bars aftermarket. Were gonna need a front clip also so if anyone hears about one for sale please let me know. Also can we buy the housing for the front axle and replace the stuff inside ? Its a dana 60.

We were considering installing a Rancho suspension lift on the truck previously but I have to check what parts come with the kit

Thanks in Advance

You should be able to get a parts break down from the dealer, but, I would be weary of a bent frame. DT sells the locater arms as well as Skyjacker and a few other companies I cannot think of. I would go to a wrecking yard for another front axle, I would also look at the steering arms to check for straightness. There might be a lot more damage than you think in the front end of that truck. I would probably take it to a frame shop and have them look at it first before you spend a butt-ton of money trying to repair it. Just my $0. 02.
