As some of you know I just replaced my gov spring with the 3200 gov spring. All is great except one thing.

This has happened 3 times in the last couple days.

What happens is I can be going allong at 60mph. Step in to the throttle fast and hard. When the truck starts to build high boost all of a sudden its as if some one turns the lights out and the truck returns to idle with my foot still planted to the floor.

My reaction has been to lift off the throttle real fast and as I do so I realize the truck is still running. I give the truck some throttle and its as if nothing happened and the truck continues to run just fine.

A few minutes later after the first time I stuck it again WOT. The truck did just fine but on my return trip home the same night it did it again. Same deal as above.

Flash forward to today the stuff above happened a couple days ago. It rained out and the roads were wet... . :-laf

I came to a stop sign check for cars and kids and let her rip. As I am slidding the back end out again the truck returned to idle and me being like I am as soon as I felt this I lifted my foot again.

I am not sure how all this takes place I know its not electrical or the truck would or could just shut off.

It may be lack of fuel and me lifting off the throttle allows the truck to still idle but under full throttle it runs out of fuel for a split second.

When I say its like a light switch I mean it. Its as if I lifted the throttle as fast as I could.

Anyone else have this problem or have any ideas.

This has only happened 3 times and I have pinned it several times without this problem so its not all the time.

I have my first races this Sunday and I do not want this to happen during a race I gota get her running right. .

THanks in advance Lance Seattle, WA.

Well, I catagorically deny being a fuel tech... . however, the first thing I'd do is to check the 2 wires connected to the fuel start/stop solendoid.

There are 2 spade connections and it doesn't matter which wire (black & blue) is connected to which terminal, just as long as they are both good and snug... .

In mean time some of the guys will jump in here I'm sure..... :D:D

Are you coming down to the races Sunday?

Yeah I had them little buggers catch me one time but the truck would not start at all when they had a problem. Have others had this problem only to find out it was these wires just screwing things up being just a little loose?
