Obviously I havent! Was on my way home from work , turning on to route 6 accelerated fairly hard, and poof! Stripped the threads where the nut was and loosened the clamp enough to allow the boot to pop off the horn. Of course, I took the tool box out of my truck yesterday to haul a couple of rear ends and had no tools with me. So the cell phone charger had to be sacrificed . It was an extra so no big deal.
Drove it home 15 miles with the motorola clamp:D The only place I was concerned was coming up Andover hill its about a 6 to 7% grade a mile and a half long. I downshifted out of OD and was able to keep it below 6 pounds of boost.
Needless to say, Im investing in some clamps tomorrow. Now I dont trust the others as the one that stripped looked fine the last time I put it on.

The wife knew something wasnt right when I came home and jumped under the hood right away. You shoulda seen the look on her face when she came outside to see what I was doing and saw the motorola clamp

The toolbox went back in the truck last night as well :)

With the trucks I work on, this is pretty common. Not to pull threads though, it's usually the spotwelds that fail that attach the "sleeve" to the band. Truck usually comes in with a low power or air system leak complaint.
