When do they discontinue winter diesel?

I was just browsing at the Dieselstop.com Site

and this is what most people thought of their new Ford 6. 0s

My 02/HO has over 20K now and not one single defect. :p

Seems to be fine... FOR NOW. 4 injectors, one turbo, 3 ICP's, and a few reflashes, ... oh ya, and then the washers on the injectors that got installed upside down, and of course the broken valve cover bolt. And it only took 4 visits to the dealer, for a total of 32 days in the shop of the first 56 days of ownership

Why yes, i have thank you!

can i have a CREW CAB Dodge instead? NO? until then, i will keep the Ford!

they are experiencing some serious growing pains with the new engine. to say the least. for some reason diesel fuel in the oil doesnt work well with turbo bearings :D

I parked next to a "real" crew cab dually last Sunday at our favorite breakfast hole. Do the kids really need enough room for a coffee table and a great dane laying at thier feet with room to spare? The truck was all painted up like a bad acid trip and was obviously useless. No 5th weel hitch or even a tool box in the bed. Instead was a little bitty 1 7/8" trailer ball sticking out the rear with a flat four wire plug all twisted around it. While eating our cholesterol, fat patties and death cakes, out goes mom and dad with a skinny little boy and a little girl dancing while she walked like she was made of rubber. Cute little thing she was... I could see the reason for the extra 5" when they got in. The kid's legs weren't long enough to bend at the knees while sitting in the big seat so their legs stuck straight out. Their feet would have been in the back of mom and dad's seat in my truck. We both put our forks down to listen when he cranked it up with the back of the truck right outside our window. There was no cackle, romp romp romp, or puddle of oil underneath. To his benefit, he had chosen a crew cab dually GM Duramax/Allison. Boy they have a nice clear throaty sounding exhaust note. :D

Only problem is that the Chevy crew cab doesn't have much more room than the dodge . The Ford has the most room.

I just can't figure out why I spend $35 a year for this site. I can't even do a simple search. Every time a do a search for fuel in oil, or lack of power, it transfers me to the 6. 0 Ford forum. :D
