Competition First time pull event - Outville, Ohio

Competition 11.32 @ 124 mph where to get a cage?

This thing only weights in at 2900#'s! geeze, less then 1/2 of my weight. Not sure what motor as I'm no Porsche expert. I wasn't the "4" so it was RWD. and I know it was the 996 body style.

Poor guy couldn't make it around me until I let out at 3350RPM (turn of ABS truck to get past 108).

I out drove this guy though traffic. Got a ways upfront and settled down at 75mph. I see in my mirrors him dodging cars and finally gets around. When he was about 5 cars back I jumped on the throttle, by the time I matched his speed He was right on my bumper, I had to cut over (in front of him) as to not hit the car in front. At this point I was nearing 108-ish and felt the truck back down. Tuned the key forward to kill that pesky ABS computer. At this point the Carrera jumps over 2 lanes thinking he was going to pass. NOPE! trucks wakes up and I run him up to about 3350-ish. This just about 120mph. As soon as I let off he flys right by.

:)

Yeah, I think he'll return the Porche, he had a paper plate on it as he just bought it. What a way to ruin a new car feeling eh? Get schooled by a big old diesel truck. :)

Nice kill. A lot of car owners don't really fathom the idea of getting run by a heavy, loud and smelly diesel truck. Sometimes though there faces are just to priceless as you pass them rolling coal. :D:-laf

Define smelly?

Some of them gassers when they are WOT "stink" just as bad.

Yeah, I hear ya. It's a little shocking at times I'm sure :)

Oh when I said "smelly," I was referring to people who always complain that diesel smoke is gross and fowl and smells terrible, at least a time or two I have been told that by people on the road (and no I was not smoking them out). I love the smell of the stuff as I am sure most do on here. It never gets old for me.

Yeah, the folks that complain when you are not playing around are the most retarded of the bunch. If only they knew the world runs on diesel powered vehicles. :) They would poop a brick! :)
