I just got my truck back from the shop, they put a reman ECM and a new vp44. The problems i am having is the throttle will surge bad before she warms up and sometimes when the truck's warmed up it will to, the "wait to start" light hardly comes up, even this morning when it was 33 degrees i had to keep playing with the key for it to show up??? dose anybody know whats going on?

have a look at this thread... "I'm begging could some one please help? I'm have a major problem"... in 24v forum. I've been looking back at your previous posts and think you may STILL have a bad ECM or ground, or the wiring in the connector at the ECM can loosen. Also do you have a stick or auto? the ECM needs to be flashed right for your application.

OK. the 122 is APPS, the 463 is fuel level sender, 1693 is a companion code, and 1694 is a catalist code. you can find all this in the 24 valve section, look at tha header and select FAQ, then "the code list"there you'll get the details to ehlp with the fixin'. :);)

APPS = accellerator pedal position sensor
1693 companion code means there IS a code (DUH)
IAT = intake air temperature

The 1693 means there are codes in other modules,its telling you to scan the PCM,ABS,or BCM for codes. Companion means the modules share info. on a BUS
