Hazards stay on

Got a 2003 Dodge Ram, replaced the headlights and removed plow wiring, now hazards flash very dimly when the hazards are off. They aren't on all the time, but when they are I can hear a flashing noise in the dash. Any ideas what's wrong?

Chase down the flashing noise.
Most likely its the flasher itself, dying.

Does either side turn signal operate any different (slow or fast flash) ? Sounds like a short circuit in the hazard light wires. * * *bg
