transmission locked in 5th gear, want to put in heavy duty clutch while having repaired. Looking at South Bend Dyna Max 13" clutch kit. Are there any other clutches I need to look at. Not to savy on this subject. Stock clutch has worked fine pulling our last 5th wheel. DW wanted bigger so think I should possibly put in upgraded clutch for towing. Know someone can lead me in the right direction.

As mentioned I would look into the 13" clutches from South Bend. Either the Con-O or the OFE would be great!

I have the luk cerametallic 13" upgrade in my ride. I put 20k miles of heavy pulling on it everyday & have never had a single problem with it yet. I pulled a sled with it too. Some guys have said that it is a little grabby, but I like it. I think that it is a good clutch & it is a little cheaper than the SB stuff. I've heard great things about SB, but Luk makes the stock clutch for Dodge trucks & that has to count for something in my book.

South Bend has done there homework on the diesel clutches! The MU 0090 Con O is good for 400hp and uses your stock flywheel. Or upgrade to MU 13-1. 25 Con OFE comes with new flywheel.
