HD debut still at the Detroit show

Is the HD debut still slated for the Detroit show, or has it been moved to the Chicago show?

Their gonna hold out as long as they can the way i see it,and if i was them i would do the same ... . But I want to see The durn thing! :~(



Two reasons i feel they will wait as long as they can,One To have more time to trouble shoot the After treatment Crap! and the main reason, to have a Better chance of selling the left over 08 ,09 Trucks cause once the 2010 hits the Show Room it will be game over Unless they cut one heck of a deal on the left overs! Thats the way i see it anyway!

The reason I was asking is that the Chicago show website doesn't list the Ram 2500/3500 as a "production debut". I could not find the list of "production debuts" for Detroit.

That's the existing 3rd gen. The new HD will be a 2010 model and all information we have is that it will be introduced in Chicago.

does the 5. 6L even exist any longer?? The 5. 0 has all but been confirmed by most car rags and even an underhood sticker on the 2009 Rams...

I was hoping it'd be the 5. 6l. you think it would be since it was developed late 04 early 05 wasn't it? If it is the 5. 0l it's still the largest displacement of the big three light duties. I read somewhere that its starting HP will 320+ with 520 ft lbs.



Are those #'s to much to ask for?
