HD drain plug

Is anyone using one of those Plug-it-Right HD drain plugs that Geno's carries? Just wondering if it works, I am going to replace my stock one the next oil change.

I'm going to wait till my drain plug de facto rust proofs the whole underside of the pickup. Gawd knows I need it round here- been 80% + humididty this week.

Alan, you're in Louisana, you dont count. j/k. You oughtta be used to it. Do you get winter there? My high EGTs have kept it pretty warm here.



Back on track (i've been getting sidetracked a lot, lately), I'd be interested in getting a HD drain plug, if the price was reasonable. Mine has no gasket or washer on it now; didnt come with one, I dont think. Are the drain Plgs the same size from Generation to generation? Seems like I remember seeing that the newer ones were a different size.

You may want to do a search on the drain plugs, it seems to me that a while back there were some problems with one of the plugs that Geno was selling. Something about it coming loose and some even fell out.

PS Winter = rain, we are catching up this year I think.
