Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) HD Steering

I'm in dire need to replace most of the front end. A friend told me that there is a HD steering upgrade kit for the 99+ that we can buy from the dealership. He said the parts are bigger and more HD than my stock stuff. Does anyone know of this upgrade or have done it? I'm in need of a new track bar, tie rods & ends, steering stabilizer etc. I'm also going to order a Red Head steering box soon. Any help with better parts would be greatly appreciated.

I got the 99 tie rod kit from NAPA. For the track bar Geo's sells a few 3rd gen swap outs. I need to do that now.
I origianally did Lukes Links, but the ends were too worn, so I pullled them. and went this route. So far so good.

Borgeson has a kit that has the steering box, shaft, new hoses and a higher output power steering pump. My 3500 98 had 270K miles on it when I changed it out, it was needing it bad. It was easy to do and it drives great now. I also like the quicker steering that comes with the steering box. This just an idea that you might wont to look into. The cost nearly keep me from doing but now I am very happy with it and would do it again. Even my brakes seem to perform better.

There is a dealer part kit for the steering. It does not include all that you listed but does do the linkage and tre,s and iirc converts from y to t type. There are two one is for an 08 and up that seems to fit 2001 and up as is. I have this one sitting in my garage waiting to be installed on my 01 just havent had the chance yet. I believe it will fit earlier but not without mods. However there is also one that fits the mid to late 90's which is also supposed to bea very nice hd upgrade some searching on here will surely bring up some more info on them.

My redhead box has been great so far been a couple years and 25k so not really long term endorsement but so far so good
