THIS is one of the worse 2 to 4wd conversions I have seen. Standard lugs in the front; 400-450hp w/o an intercooler :rolleyes::-laf :-laf "Upgraded" turbo? Looks stock to me, unless he got a rare-as-hens-teeth 52mm compressor wheel upgrades, little good that it would do. No gauges, other than something on the passenger side. BS meter?:D Note the zip ties holding the window switch assembly in place. I at least use JB Weld, and on the back side. :-laf:-laf:-laf:-laf

I'd say, take off the lift, put 235/85-16 tires on it, and it MIGHT be worth $4500, no more than that.

Like his last line in the description reads... . "This is one bad Dodge"... . if he only knew!!:p Horsepower is off some... like about 300 maybe?? :-laf

I'm trying to figure out the 205 t/case with 9:1:1 gear ratio. That truck must really be slow, with the 'built' 3 speed auto, that transfer case and 410 gears.

I wonder if it actually has detroit lockers in it, probably just welded spider gears... .....

It seems people think these trucks are worth more and more every day, yet the condition/butchering gets worse. Yes, there are a few higher mileage trucks out there that are still pretty tight, well maintained, etc. The rest have been neglected for years. Since diesels got more mainstream a few years ago, the older Dodges, which probably includes second gens now, haven't depreciated a bit.

Firstgens have kind of a cult following, unless you "know" what one is, they have no value. In 2000, I tried trading in my 91. 5 D250 in near mint condition with 85K on it, they also offered me $1500. I got over 4 times that much selling it on my own. You used to be able to find plenty of people selling firstgens cheap. Now everyone has a story about how they're the greatest trucks ever. Then word has gotten out.

He also lowered the reserve price and the buy it now price... still a little too expensive I'm afraid...

I asked him about how he thought he was getting 400hp out of it. Maybe 400-450 tq? That is about right with a stock auto and hopped up pump.
