have the opportunity to pickk one up in good shape cheap, i was hoping to get some good links or directions to how to manually operate it with a spring from the drive pressure pushing on it or any oher kind of way that would be cheap. also i would love to somehow utilize the exhaustbrae if posible.

It has been done talk to Cerberisium , you will need 60LB valve springs to do it

We did it both ways, with a spring on the collar to open against drive pressure and using WG solenoid to open it with boost. Both work decently to a degree but require gutting the electronic control and manufacutirng linkage.



The WG solenoid works better due to the tendency to soot the the turbo up and stick the collar.



If you want to retain the EB functions and reliability Fleece makes a controller that I am pretty sure you can make work on it. It might take some creativity to add a TPS but not sure of the exact requirements for that controller.
