i am thinking about putting he351vgt on my truck but got some questions first what would be a comparable after market turbo? what makes vg eb part of the turbo work? is it a motor and if it is what kind of in put does it need to make it work such as voltage or data thanks

If you use Google to search for "he351vgt controller" there's all sorts of discussions. It's interesting and non-trivial. You need a PWM (pulse width modulation) controller or replace the vane actuator with something else. Try this thread over at HomemadeTurbo - DIY Turbo Forum
