Head and cam installed!

Ponci finished up the install last week of the PDR stage 2 head (ported, 60# springs, O-rings) and PDR cam set. Also put in a 3200 RPM spring in the VE pump. I picked the truck up yesterday. Oo. Really have not laid into it real hard yet, wanted to get some miles on it first, seems to run real good. I had a drop of about 4 PSI on the boost which I expected to see due to the porting work on the head. Its easier for the turbo to push air thru the engine. (Can turn the fuel up a little to get the boost back)



This is the first phase of this latest bomb. Phase 2 will happen next month and will consist of a set of twins and a 4" exhaust system. I am going to take out the 185 injectors and install a set of PODs. Also need to put my modified fuel cone back in and get everything adjusted for the new airflow and boost. I have a water/meth system about ready to be installed also. Oo.



Once done with the above, my major bombing will be done.



In the process of rebuilding the front suspension the next week or two.

Sure wish I would have had a camera the other day at lunch. Two nice looking first gens with almost the same color. Seamed like a picture perfect moment to me. I am glad you kept the old girl instead of buying a new one. Once you get done with the twins you will never even think about getting rid of it.



Hey on a side note do you want to put me in your will I only want the pickup. A D250 and a W250 would look real nice in my driveway. :-laf
