I have a coolant leak right under the thermostat housing,,i checked the housing and it isn't it,,,so i assume the head gasket is done,,,it's a small leak but i want to fix it before it gets worse.
I am hoping it's doable in the truck,,
Does anyone have a recommendation of which gasket to use,,,i want to use an OEM gasket from cummins,,but cant figure out which to use,,stock or . 010 thicker//
Also,,where is the best place to buy...
Hope someone can give me some advice on doing this job,,,,i work on motorcycle racing engines a lot,,,so i think a head gasket job should be fairly simple...
I will go throught the head also,,clean the valve and re-lap them in . .
