Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Head job

I have a -96 model engine and plans are following, first radius and clean the head intake and exhaust ports, do the good exhaust manifold with equal length runners etc... so the question

is, if anyone recall to seeing a article or web page related to porting up the Cummins head. Any information ll'be useful.

as far as cleaning it up, there is a bump on number one intake you'll want to pay attention to. i'd smooth out the castings and letters off the bottom of the plenum. basically clean it up good, port match it to the gaskets and a nice valve job will get you EGT gains that make the trouble well worth it.



dont go crazy just take off the obvious, to be safe.
