Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) head lights dimming

ok I have noticed a new problem when sitting idle my head lights will dim then go bright the only thing I can think of is my ac fan is doing this maybe pulling to many amps? any suggestions? what I might be able to check to see why my lights are doing this.

If it is just after start-up, it's probably the grid heaters cycling to help warm the motor.

Yep, thats exactly what it is. Mine does the same. Nothing to worry about, compleatly normal.

you'll notice your volt guage being drug down by the heaters as well... . its normal

You have 2 grid heaters under your hood that draw around 90 amps each. Believe me, 180 amps @ 12 volts or 2100 watts, will cause your headlights to dim. It's normal.
