2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission head lights dont work

Well sometimes when doing from my bright lights back to my regular lights my normal lights will not come on. Some times i have to switch back and forth from bright to regular to get them to come on. this only happens some of the time. does anyone know what could be causing this.

Sure sounds like the multi-function switch (P/N 5269377 SWITCH, Multifunction) is defective.
