Thanks, TDR Staff

Competition MPH increase with Drag Comp?

Competition flow rating of powerstroke intercooler?

Gene would never poke fun at anything like that... .

The flow numbers are pretty good for stock valvesize.....

Makes me wonder what we could do if we REALLY hogged one out... .

Are your valves backcut?

Where did you focus most of your efforts?

And now everybodywho has the die grinder in their hand right now, has that question going through their head,

"IS HE!?!?"

We will just have to wait and see if it is a :cool: or a:{

BTW, what does a head cost?;)

Gene even If I trash a couple heads I still proble got less in it than you have in yours :D and I learned something other than how to spell another word in my check book :p

Now there is a good work ethic!!

As long as I don't spend much money, and learn from the failure, it is ok to do things wrong, the first time and second... ..... :p. (not saying you are doing anything wrong)

Is that how you work on airplanes?:D :D Trial and error?;)

The important thing, is, are you having fun George?

I would rather spend the money to have something done right the first time, and learn from the masters, than learn from my own costly mistakes and keep doing something over and over.

My fun is driving it.

Besides, you have way more exprience than I do in engine building. ;)

no its more like glorified gas welding but can do alum. and SS I still have the mig

I missed your qustion in your other post sorry

Are your valves backcut? not for theflow numbers but will get a 3 angle valve job before it goes back on

Where did you focus most of your efforts? manly around the vavle guide like piers shows and a lot tapering out to a gasket macth

sounds like he has a notch cutter, tubing bender, chop saw and at least a decent MIG welder.

1. Got it... . Pro Tools

2. Got it... . Pro Tools

3. Got it... . Dewalt

4. Mig and Tig..... both Lincoln

Bending a cage to fit is a little different.

Okay... . anyone see any reason why we can't backcut our valves... and then do a multiple angle valvejob?

I'm jealous of all you guys with anything more than a bench grinder, sawzall, air tools, and an old AC buzzbox - that's all I have at my disposal. But I do have a short-term heated garage... . anything that takes more than a day is more likely than not going to be denied.

I need to move out, hit the lottery, buy a garage and LOTS of tools and retire... . haha
