I was replacing transmission inter-cooler line with a line that has a port for sending unit-----getting ready to do gauges---------and was topping off transmission fluid and I noticed what looks like wetness on top of block around head gasket not really leaking just wetness and I am wondering if I have something to worry about?

I did wipe it off and will keep a close eye on it but I am wondering if anybody else is having this problem.

Thanks

JIM

Tighten the plugs at the top right of the head. The sealing compound tends to soften with time and heat and they leak.

Once you tighten them once your ok.

Standing on the passenger side of truck are they the flush mounted plugs?

Thanks I will look at first thing in the mourning

Mine was doing the same exact thing. Dealer replaced the draft tube assy because the grommet in the valve cover had gotten spongy and was seeping.
