Just remember at 40 psi the stock turbo is at the end of its map (effieciency) and its blowing alot of heat and has alot of backpressure than other bigger turbos most of us are running. Boost is a measure of backpressure and backpressure, cyl. pressure and ultimatly boost is what kills headgaskets. For what your doing with the truck I would say do the studs just for cheap insurance because if somethings going to fail its probably going to be in those 1000 miles your planning on running.

thats what i was thinking mattymac not a whole lot of extra fuel is gonna be put to this motor just a tst box for power just got to keep egts down running wot :) The turbo is gonna be brand new so hopefully it will last or maybe i can find another option? And remember also a bigger intercooler, intake, exhaust manifold, etc. will be used to cool the motor as well
