Headflight High Beam Wire, where is it ?

Is there any place that I can get to the headlight high beam wire without removal of a lot of stuff to get to the back of the headlight

(plug) ? I just need to find the high beam wire +12 Volts when high beams are on to trigger the relay for my driving lights.

Truck is a 2003 Ram Sport 4x4

Just curious... Why would you trigger a relay off your high beam wire?



I usually hook to the parking light hot wire. Then have a switch to turn them off if I wanted too.



That way, they always work on hi or low beam.

In NYS, you get caught with driving lights that do not go off with the high beams and its ticket time. Trigger the relay off the high beam wire (through a switch in the cab) so you can select if you want driving on or not. Same in NYS with fog lights, they can only be on when low beams are on, same as shipped by dodge,.



I did find a place where I could get the the White/blue wire on the right high beam, from under the truck. Its all working great now.
