... if all goes as planned. After tomorrow I don't have to go back to work until Wednesday. I am planning on leaving tomorrow night. I can make Dallas in 12 hours if I don't stop too much. No real plan as where I'm going, just taking a little mini vacation. I may try to make it down to Gruene Hall to see Charlie Robison New Year's Eve. So if anyone between here and there sees a silver reg. Cab with Iowa plates, wave at me, honk, or blow some smoke. Have a good one.

Terry, don't know if you're into the Cowboy thing or not, but if you haven't been to Old Fort Worth, it's worth a check. Billy Bob's is just a big somewhat overrated saloon, but he does pull in some great entertainers.



Lots more to The Stockyards than Billy Bobs.

Gruene and the rest of the hill country are some of the nicer parts of the state. I have seen Charlie Robison a couple of time and he puts on a good show.

Well, I definitely won't be leaving tonight. Have to work tomorrow. Not too happy about it either. I've been to the Stockyards. Definitely enjoy Riscky's all you can eat ribs. Hoping I can still make it if I blast out tomorrow night. We will just have to see. I had wanted to swing down to Kingsville, but I definitely don't see that happening.

Along your way in Waco, there is the Texas Ranger Museum right next to I-35. Lots of old guns, knives and stories about some tough men.
