O. K. this may sound dumb But I need to adjust my lights. I have a 98 and need to if you will (Beam me Up) hard to see with them pointing down. Put some overload spring on the rear and kinda gave me a nose down. So any help folks?

Headlights

Find a level area where you can park 25' from a wall (dark is better), make sure truck is parked square with wall. Use a #20 Torx screwdriver on the 2 adjustment screws on each light assy. 1 top inboard adjusts L/R aim and center bottom adjusts up/down. Adjust to focus them where you need 'em.

Thanks i will give it a try tonight. I guess the adjustment is from outside right. I can see this place from the front of the headlight?

The only dumb question is one you don't ask. Here's how I do it. Make sure your tires are at their normal running pressure. Pull up square to a wall that has at least 40' of flat ground behind it, an industrial building works good. With your truck just a few inches from the wall make an X in the center of both headlight low beam hot spots with chalk or tape. Back up straight so your front tires are 25' from the wall, measure the distance to both tires if you think you aren't square. You can do this measurement beforehand and mark it with chalk. The center of your hot spots should now be 2" lower and 2" to the right of the first X. Adjust accordingly. This will only work if your lights aren't way, way out of adjustment to begin with. If they are you will need to measure the center to center distance of your lights to the ground and to each other and make your Xs with these measurements.
