Surge at Idle

Warm up/cool down

My first Diesel hauler, I'm just learning about it. Should be a simple ?, I think. On my 04. 5 Dually, where are the headlight adjustment screws. Driving down the road at night, I look like I'm searching for snakes. ;) Also, how do you guys get your cool names added and the vehicle descriptions? Thanks

I've got an '05 and switched the OEM bulbs for 9007 Osram/Sylvania Silverstar after first drive at night. I'm probably wrong, but I don't believe the headlights are adjustable. The best driving light effect I've realized is when I slowed down. Auxillary lighting would help on the Interstate. Can't help with your signature ( can't do my own ) but there is an edit function on the main page I've attempted. . I know you'll do better. Hope you enjoy your truck as much as I do mine.

All headlights, by law, must be adjustable. I have an older horse but somebody will come on for you. They a probably in the same place but I don't want to lead you wrong. Enjoy the truck!!

There is a black weather seal on the inside edge of the light. Pull that over and you will see a torx bolt you can tighten or loosen to raise or lower the light beam.

Hope that helps.

Both the headlights and foglights are adjustable. I forget if you need to rotate the adjustment screw clockwise or counterclockwise to raise the beam. I do remember that it is the oposite for the fogs. I guess they come from the factory pointing at the ground so that when you load the back of the truck they aren't pointing up too high.

Thanks.
