2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Headlight Replacement Options

Hey everyone

Anyone heard of a replacement headlight system for the '96 2500 TD Club Cab? Am interested in replacing stock headlights with HID if it is available. Need to replace housing and all as the housing is getting pretty cloudy. HALP !!!

Hey Tech. . Check- where in central CA? A good compromise is the sport headlight. Many of us second genners have done this mod, and the benefits are worthwhile. I've got a full kit in my garage that was going on a 2001... that turned into a 2004. 5 instead. Do some reasearch. Ebay for sport headlights, and Baker automotive for the special bright box (controls all four bulbs. ) I've got them on my '96 if you're in the neighborhood (Los Osos, near San Luis Obispo). Also do a TDR search on HIDs. Several members have them installed, and they are IMPRESSIVE!

As said, go with the sport conversion. here are a couple of pics of my conversion. Our older rigs need a little cutting to install the second bulb.
