Hi All, has anyone tried the HR HID low beam kit for the 2015 model year? It looks like a good product and install looks easy as well. I am looking for a quality conversion kit with a good warranty and customer service to back it up.
Thanks in advance for any replies!

Watch those HID conversions as the reflector isn't designed for the that type of pinpoint lighting. I do think the reflector was designed for a candle though. After 20 years they must have the same design engineer doing the lighting.

Just a heads up,there are no legal hid conversions that are legal in the USA
Possibly, but I've yet to hear/read/see anyone ticketed for this conversion which by now has to be in the tens of 1000s.
HIDs are practically required after seeing that glowing birthday candle Ram calls halogen headlights.

I ran HID’s in my 05 Ram 2500 in the stock housings for 5 years... never pulled over for having HID’s. Everyone’s worried about the law but has anyone ever been pulled over? (That correctly aligned their headlights after install?)

Ya problem is HID's in a stock halogen reflector causes major light scatter . Yes cops aren't to pushy about these equipment violations. I curse those who do it and they are oncoming to you because you do get blinded.

X2 what pbar said you may be able to see better but the oncoming traffic suffers I don’t want to sound like a crotchety old guy but I guess if the shoe fits it irritates the heck out me when I get blinded by someone’s poor conversion regardless of how good they think it is for them.

Ok, I scrapped the HID conversion option and went with the new Putco Zero clearance LED option for the projector beam headlights. As advertised, everything fits into the housing including the canbus harness and the cover fits back on the back without any modification. I haven't been out in the pitch black yet but the color is far better than any halogen bulb.

Let us know how they work. Also put your wife in a car and have her come on coming to see the splatter if any. I just don't know why Chrysler would go to the point of projectors and not install the metal halides?
