2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Headlight Switch Relay

Do any of the 2nd gens have a relay in the circuit for either running lights or headlights?



Obviously my '92 doesn't, but I was curious about the later trucks.

The quad headlamps on model year 2000 Rams use a relay for the high beam filaments of the 9004 (inboard) filaments. Probably the same for at least 1999 through 2002.

add a headlight relay

Some 2nd gen 3500 have a headlight relay. Most 2500 do not seem to have a headlight relay. DC has a recall #819 for adding a headlight relay to 1 tons. This kit (CAJM8190) also works in the 2500. I installed CAJM8190 in my 3/4 ton.
