Headlights

I've been having problems with my headlights. When I turn the lights on the headlights will not come on until I cycle the dimmer switch. Then they work good until the net time I need them.

Does it soubd like the dimmer switch.

Hi Jeff,



Your problem does sound exactly like the light switch. They have a tendancy to fail, usually by the switch burning out and smoking like crazy. Also you should check the connector on the back of the switch, it can overheat too.

Just replace the switch and you should be good to go, but don't wait too long or you'll have smoke and nasty smells coming from under there.

Thanks: I just changed it out with a switch I had picked upearlier. Hopefully tah will do it.
