I don't know why you would need to pull the windshield. Remove the visors, visor clips, overhead console, dome light, A-pillar covers, rear door latch covers, coat hangers, rear pillar covers, and the little retainer caps and it should come right out.
 
The auto body place says they can recover mien but he said on most of em you had to pull the front or rear windshield I told him these cabs have no b pillar so he's going to look at it and see when I take it in to have a bunch of other stuff done
 
Yes, you would recover your headliner, not replace it. Lot's of places around here do it, mostly upholstery shops. It's not difficult, I did mine in my standard cab.

If they would just wrap the material around the edges we wouldn't have this problem.
 
That's how I screwed up my headliner I bought a sunshade or whatever it's called and I'd never used one before well I pushed it up behind the front edge of the head liner and it pulled the lining down
 
I took mine to a local auto trim shop for replacement last year. Total cost-$100-and worth every penny to avoid that misery.
