no issues that ive heard of. in fact it seems many of the so rigs get a greater improvement than the ho's. my 03 48re ho has no flatspot and ive not witnessed any other with a flatspot but have heard of a couple

Agreed,my S. O. runs wicked good stacked,no hiccups,no codes,flawless. Coincidentally,today is my local shop's dyno day... Ill have numbers later this evening.

the only issue is on a small number of early 04's w/ a certain build date w/ the 48re. no other models have an issue.

Well I hate to tell ya, but mine is an 03 with a 6 speed and it had issues also. I mentioned in one of the earlier threads it only gave me about 320 at the wheels.

Yup,first run Bully Dog on extreme only,i have my stock numbers from last year,so i can report to you the BD gain,than a few runs stacked to se the combined output.

lots of guys runnin pup stacked w/ the ez and other fp boxes sucessfully. myself,,,i wldnt be thrill with the higher rail pressures if used in the long term with the z in the highest setting tho. lmills is the only 03 eth-dee ive heard of w/ low numbers im not affiliated w/ b-dog in any way. i just use their products and they, being an idaho company support allmost all of our local tdr events being in attendance of most of em. a nice group of guys [and gals]. i consider many who work there as friends.

I just installed my DL on extreme yesterday and stacked it with my EZ on level 2 and this thing is a BEAST! The clutch won't hold it in 6th gear and the smoke was great. Today I upped the EZ to level 4 and the clutch really hates life now and the smoke is AWESOME!! I haven't seen smoke like this since riding in my uncles 2001 truck with 2 boxes, 100hp injectors, fuel lines, hx40, etc. It really rocks! I do have a pretty bad flat spot in between 2100 and 2400 rpms. I'm leaving tomorrow for a business trip and will address the problem when I get back and possibly send the DL back for a new one and see if it helps matters any. Also, I'm selling my EZ, so that might help the flatspot as well. We'll see. . But all in all, I'm quite pleasantly satisfied with all the power! Now it's time to start saving for the SB clutch and HTB2... . Maybe I'll get them for my wife for Christmas. :-laf

I thought about setting it to the level 5 setting on my new EZ but with the 20 hp made by pressure on the DL + the extra 80 hp made with the EZ, that's right at 100hp with just pressure, that's some serious rail pressure! Naahhh... .

that brings up a good question, where does the combo of the BDOG dl'er and the EZ stop on the rail pressure?? I mean if the DL'er adds "X" amount, and the the EZ adds "X" amount, is there a break-off point where the pressure will be limited???

You should use rail pressure modestly. If you pop the relief valve you risk damaging it. It's not designed to be a working valve. You don't want to be riding the threshold. It's been done on the Dmax before (same injection system). The first boxes for the Dmax were pressure boxes. After a year nobody was using them.

My stacked combo showed 402/738 yesterday. My TC didnt want to co-operate,definitely left some HP on the table.....

Tried to,long story,dyno probs in my opinion. Although i can give you my honest opinion of the Bdog on extreme setting. Since last year with my RAMifier box i did 275/612. And this year the combo netted me 402/738 it looks as the Bdog added 127/126 which is about spot on for their claims. Remember though i have a CA,S. O. truck,which (in my opinion) normally sees more gains due to the fact we start off in the hole Hp @ TQ wise,i. e lower rail pressure,timing differences,etc. Mark.

What is your stock numbers?? How much hp and tq does your ramifier add??

Stock 186/351, with Ramifier 275/612, stacked with Bdog 402/738. Remember my 48 left a little on the table,imho.
