Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Heads up on radiator clamp

Was checking the fluid levels today and noticed the coolant was about an inch low in the recovery tank. Crawled under the truck and found a drip coming from the bottom radiator hose. Upon closer inspection I found that not only was the hose only half way on the fitting, the hose clamp was only half way on the hose! No work has been done in this area since I bought the truck so it must have been this way when it left the factory. You guys might want to check your bottom radiator clamp, this could have been a real problem if it would have let go on the freeway.

My 01 did not even come with a clamp on the lower hose :-laf Found that one out real quick one morning! (That was at 400 miles)
