heard from banks today about six gun box

Correct me if Im wrong but I dont believe the TST box is out. It is being presold on the anticipation of the january release. I havent seen one post from anyone who has one. Therefore it is not really out yet .

true it is not out yet,

BUT, hp and torq Ratings HAVE been released, has EDGE or banks released any specs?

We just heard from Banks this morning with the numbers for the Six-Gun which should be released very shortly.



Six-Gun Part# 62977

105 hp

258 lb-ft.



Speed loader Part# 62978 (Used with Six-Gun)

126 hp

290 lb-ft.



We hope to have more information and pricing on our website by the end of the week.

Hey buds,



I got a 6-GUN / Speed Loader flyer from Banks the other day (They send me crap all the time... . although no one believes me... at least the sales calls seem to have stopped. ).



It showed IN-CAB ADJUSTABILITY for the 6-GUN. Appears to be a plate with Banks painted on it, and a knob with six positions.



I don't care for these guys, 'cause I don't like junk mail or sales calls, but I know a lot of you do and would be interested in this info. If anyone is interested, I'll scan the flyer and post it as a pic.

We installed the Six Gun with speed loader on my 04 48RE Friday. I have had the Dr Preformance and Edge EZ on the truck. The Banks has much more power than he other two.

I ordered the TST a couple of weeks ago. I told the lady I spoke to I needed it before I go on vac. the first of May and she didn't think that would be any problem.

The speed loader comes with a senor that is install in the exhaust to make sure temps do not exceed spec"s,also banks promise is not to exceed 24. 500 rail pressure.

Briman read the banks link you posted it read that the system can handle 27k not that it puts presure to that level. It states it should not exceed 24. 5k

If you read down a little farther in the section titled "Stacked for Power", it says "At every level except Level 6 with the Speed-Loader option, fuel pressure is kept below 24,500 PSI. Level 6 with the Speed-Loader keeps fuel pressure just below 27,000 PSI, the maximum allowable pressure for the system".



The Speed-Loader option monitors EGT's to make sure the temperatures are kept under control. The banks box by itself without the Speed-Loader does not monitor EGT.
