Heat exchanger failed

2007 Cummins. Heat exchanger failed and took out my transmission after only 70k on a rebuild.
So doing another rebuild with a local transmission shop.
What are the must have for a solid transmission rebuild?
I'm a contractor so i tow a decent amount mostly under 8k.

Not yet.

Ask them for their recommendations and report back. There are so many variations and you have to live with what the builder will support so get their input before researching too many ideas.
