2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Heat Soak Problem?

Hi gang, I'm tired of replacing starter contacts. Has anyone wired up a remote solenoid to their starter? I get at lot of click- clicks after my truck has been run for some time 30mins on avg. So I remember back in the day when I used to do this to my 68 El Camino and a few VW's.

Have you used the upgraded contacts? Should not have a problem with them in.
