2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Heated Mirrors Help??????

Hello ok if we can get this question answered it is well worth the investment of the forums. I have a 02 2500 it came with tow mirrors I personally can not stand them and took them off and put power heated mirrors on. I have all the plugs in the door as best as I can tell. The power all works great I got the new heater/ AC controller with the heated mirror switch install and when I went to hook up the plug it is no where to be found. I asked the dealer about a new wiring harness and none ask if it has heated mirrors or not. So that leads me to believe that they wires are there just hidden. Can anyone help me find them please.

I am guessing I did not word this corrert. I found the harness in the door it is connected and all power options work great. I lso bought and installed the HVAC unit but can not find the plug that goes to the HVAC unit for the defost switch. Hope that helps.

If the connectors are in the door, then I would think the harness would have the other end too for the HVAC. When I converted mine to power, I found that the mirror heat connector was there and actually plugged into the back of the non-power HVAC control. It just wasn't doing anything because there were no electronics in that HAVC control to make conneciton with.



Mine was a small, three-wire white connector. Have you tried the mirror heat? Perhaps you've already plugged it in and you are looking for an extra connector that you've already connected? Slap me if I'm being too obvious, but I've done things like that myself.

Yeah I looked in the whole under area of the dash and can nit find it I trted with tow non power mirrows. Now I have the power heated but no heat the plug just is not there if you have time can you look and see what clolor te wires are and where the come from??
