Did you ever get this figured out? My drivers seat does the same thing after sitting for several days. The dealer can't figure it out. They replaced the TIPM and called Chrysler with no solution. If you restart the vehicle the seat will work fine. The top light on the switch flashes about 60 times on first startup after sitting for several days like the computer goes to sleep but that circuit will not wake up correctly!!!
My 2006 has the same problem on the passenger seat. I figure it is failing some kind of circuit test the truck is performing. I restart my truck and it works fine. Funny it is happening on the seat that is not used that much.
One lamp on my drivers side seat switch started flashing every time the truck was started. The FSM gave diagnosis instruction that indicated that wiring to the seat element or the element itself was bad. I pulled the seat and cover and found a break in the wire. The wires were very short so I spliced in longer leads, soldering and insulating them with shrink tube. Put it all back together and everything works fine. There have been a number of posts on this forum about this.
