Do the factory heated seats warm both the bottom and back of the seat? My wifes Tahoe warms both and you can even shut off the bottom so you only have heat on your back.

It is not selectable. I am pretty sure that they heat both the bottom and back as I feel it in my low back.

What year Tahoe? My 02 only had an on/off.

My 04. 5 heats both bottom and back, but it's not selectable. Its nice to have bun warmers on a cold day.

Keep grinnin

:-laf I purchased a Genos heated seat kit and it has the option but I think I am going to have both heat but not sure? But what I want to find out where some one else put the switch. I found by taking out the seat it is a lot easier to work on. :confused: Oo. I have not changed it yet as each time I start it seems to rain I will have to go to the hobby shop to install but do you have a good place to put he switch and where did you get power? Maybe the lighter? I have not looked as the fuse box I assume there will be an open place I am not sure will check this week. :-{}

Been thinking of heated seats all summer. Now that it gets cold: I want heated seats!!! I have seen the switches mounted to the trim piece that goes around the transfer case shifting stick. Close to the seats and out of the way unless you drive with three in the front alot.

i saw the post of those switches. i would think those switches would be more proned to getting wet and dirt in them down there. i know my shifter boot is full of crumbs
