I got in my truck and pushed the heated seat button on the dash and the yellow LED just blinks now. Where can I look to troubleshoot it? Maybe a blown fuse? Bad wire connection under the seat? Anyone else ever had this happen?

The passenger seat is working fine.

Thanks

ON the '06, there are 2 indicator lamps on each switch and they help diagnose the problem.

Both flashing = seat element shorted

High flashing, low off = seat element open

Low flashing, hi off = only one element open.

Hope this helps,

Dan

I think on this year of truck the blinking led will tell you which on is not working. The top blinking means the back of the seat heater is not working and the bottom led blinking means the bottom seat heater is not working if I remember right. When mine went out I took the bottom seat out and where the wiring goes into the seat the element is soldered. The element has a very small wire in it and it flexes where it has no support. Just resolder it and use hot glue to reinforce alittle on the foam seat. The same goes for the back of the seat also. T4L
