Does anybody know if they make heated ones. I googled nut can only find large truck mirrors

I don't think you can even get those in heated. I have only seen those mirrors as a plain manual mirror

Heated weren't available when I ordered my 95. I like the heated tow mirrors on my 05 much better.

I have never seen these come factory with heaters, but I have "converted" some for a few friends over the years.

I have installed motorcycle "stick-on" type grip heaters onto the back of the mirror (purchased simular to the ones at "Dual Star" for about $20. 00/pr. ).



These heaters come with a "Hi-Lo" switch giving you two heating positions, and work very well (I've never had anyone need to use the "Hi" position), are time consuming but very simple to install and most importantly - Cheap :-laf



The installation headache is really dependent on several things, how difficult is it to get the glass out of the housing (yes, on the first one I did I break the mirror), and how fussy you are about hiding the wiring in the tubing.



One other thing, if you are going to install this type of DYI conversion, I would suggest you install the wires for some mirror clearance lights at the same time, even if you don't plan on istalliing them now, as it saves having to re & re the door panels twice. Love those kind of friends - #@$%!

Burco heat grids are a generic item and the sizes can change from time to time. In general, the sizes are as follows:

Item #3801 3-1/4" x 5-3/4"
Item #3804 6" x 7-1/4"
Item #3805 6-1/4" x 12-1/2"
