heated wiper blades

anybody have them, or experience with them? the one i have found anly draw like 1. 5 or 2 amps which only figures out to 20 to 25 watts of heat? doesn't seem like enough to me with the large area of heat sink (windshield, wiper arm, etc) especially in heavy wet snow or ice. just looking for opinions before i invest. (sure could've used 'em last winter!!!

It doesn't take much to raise the temp above freezing. I would imagine they work fantastic as it will keep the blades pliable in cold weather. Yeah I am going to get a set. You figure those with the hot defrost on and you have a winner.

Anyone have a link to these?

I would love to have those... Too many times I have been in snowstorms where I have to reach out and grab the wiper quickly and give it a flick to loosen off the ice. This would be a nice add on to the new truck.



I guess I would have to change my sig then.
