I know I have had some minor leaks in the heater core and blend doors have issues and lastly my low side pressures are out of wack. My best guess is the compressor tossed some junk into the orifice tube and is plugging the system. So I just ordered a bunch of parts, new denso compressor, new heater core and evaporator, 4 new blend motors, heater treater kit, receiver dryer, orifice tube/hose, condenser, new commercial gates belt and tensioner, and blower motor, did I miss anything? already have replace low pressure line assembly and resister pack. I plan on removing the heater box and going through it top to bottom. What are some of the shorts cuts getting it out, what should I look out for and what other parts might I need? I only want to do this once.
Thanks
Kyle

My blend doors crapped out when the truck was barely two years old. Still haven't attacked the job of replacing them. Your video is very good however, I wonder how much different it will be compared to my year 2005 automatic ? I wish there was a video showing 03 to 07

OK did someone delete me last post?
1st Heatertreater blend doors are over priced JUNK , these doors are a shade tree jury rigged mess, DO NOT buy them, they use a electrical connector for the lever, the rest is very poor quality, see photo. I can't believe I paid $275.00 for this and was still one door short. sent 4 not 5 that the job needs.
2nd this job got real complicated, compressor shot junk everywhere and even damaged the only hose, flushed the line and brown oil came out with chunks of metal ! :( I didn't intend to replace one between the condenser and the orifice tube line. Anyone know a part number for that line? only one I could fine was at autozone part #HA11447C and it looks different in the photo.
Thanks
Kyle

Blenddoorusa.com has a really nice kit. I wish they were around when I pulled the dash on my old 3rd gen. Had to with Heatertreater doors back then.

Finally got it done, 1.8 lbs freeon and pulls 39 degrees out of the vents with 86 degree outside temp. FYI on the 2004 when pulling the dash disconnect the air bag controller, park brake switch and brake light switch before pulling dash. There is an extra bolt below the glove box too. Othe than that the directions are the same as the 2007
