heater block?

I took out the heater grid and now my truck is throwing a p2609 code. . i erased it with my edge attitude monitor but it came back a couple of days later. I really dont want to put the stock heater block back in cause it definitly causes some air flow restriction. the block thats in now is from glacier diesel. . anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of that code?

The grid heater is not the "block heater"

have you tried wiring in a dummy resistor in place of the grid heater to fool the PCM to thinking it's still there ?

Did you leave the relays connected to the ecm?

Sorry I meant grid heater. . but anyway I will look into putting a dummy resistor in place of it. thanks. .

The relay idea makes sense. Anybody know where they are?
