While driving to work yesterday I smelled something burning like wiring to the point where my eyes were burning, but I couldn't tell where it was coming from. On the way home I noticed it again only stronger. As I pulled into my driveway I put the blower on full to see if it was the problem and it started making noises and smoke came out of the vents... I'm thinking that's bad!

Anybody loose a blower motor before? I only have about 75K on the truck. At least it's covered under warranty.

Mine went out not too long after the warranty expired.

It started making the "failed bearing" sound and wouldn't come up to full speed. The case was getting real hot @ the bottom (where the lower bearing that supports the weight of the armature is).
