Can anyone tell me how long it takes to remove a heater core (97 Dodge Dually)and where to find the proper procedures on the TDR website? Thanks. Ron

You have to take the dash out to get to everything. That is not too bad a task if you don't have a bunch of mods that involve the dash. If you don't have a Dodge service manual you really should have one before tackling this job. The real thing, not an after market cheapy manual.

you just have to pull the dash back... it's really not that bad. I did my evap core last summer and did my heater core for good measure. I'd recomend doing your evap core while you're in there. they're notorious for going out!

just saying there's no need to take it all the way out. just pull it back so you've got access. I used a long bungee cord hooked to my toolbox to pull the dash back. plenty of room to work and I'm 6'4" 240

Joe,

That's a great article. I loaned it to a friend of mine who had been trying for a week to get his in on his own. He said the article helped him so much that when it came time to do mine HE'D DO IT FOR ME! He also said he's joining TDR just for the magazine (no computer).

Thanks for the help Joe!
