Hello- Does anyone know which battery is used to energize the heater grid passenger or drivers side?
Thanks
Thanks
Guy I knew with a 12 valve in Gabbs, NV used to rotate his batteries each year.
If you plug in the block heater a few hours before starting the engine, the grid heaters don't put near the load on the batteries and charging system. Just have to plan ahead to plug in the truck before use as much as you can. It not difficult.
Better yet, bypass the PCM and put the relays neg posts on a toggle or momentary switch. Once the engine is running it doesn't need the grids to cycle. Does away with the annoying dimming headlights.
