2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Heater/AC vacume hose diagram

I am reinstalling the heater bow after new AC evaporator and heater core. I did not pay enough attention to the vacuum lines when I disconnected them. I can only find where 3 of the 4 vacuum lines go. Does anyone have a diagram, picture or explain where the 4th line goes. I under stand why no one will take on this job, I added a picture of the dash when I removed it. The top had been replaced about 12 years ago and looked perfect but the center support structure was falling apart. I tried to remove it in one peace to see if I could reconstruct a fiberglass structure but when I lifted the dash to remove it it literally exploded. I have an all aluminum dash from LRB Speed which is a good thing. They where the only replacement dash I could find. I was not going to pay $2,200 for a 340 year old use dash that would be just a brittle. I will post picture if and when I get it installed.

Thank you very much. That is exactly what i needed. I could not find that any where. I was still not able to find the 2nd connection on the def/floor actuator but i will look again tomorrow.

Thank you again. I got the vacuum line together and I think I got the electrical wiring back together. I have to make some modification to the new dash assemble because the directions call for installing the gauge cluster the installing the new dash and I would need to take the entire dash out again to get to the gauges, and i know I need the speedometer repaired. It is reading about 10 to 15 mph slow.

To remove the cluster, all you SHOULD need to do is pop the bezel off. If you’ve put the dash OVER the cluster, I’d fix it now. I really don’t see how you could do that and everything fit properly.

It is an after market dash assembly from LRB Speed. I originally thought the Gauge cluster bolted into the cluster hood after assembly, but they show bolting the cluster to the original metal structure, then putting the new aluminum dash skim on after and the cluster hood is riveted to the dash. I cluster hood on so I can get the cluster out latter.

I have installed one of these and I like it. It is not necessary to rivet the cluster hood in place. It can be installed using the stainless steel sheet metal screws in the size that LRB provides for other parts of the installation. That's what I ended up doing, because of a mistake in the instrument cluster placement.

Rivets are faster and less likely to get loose. But it'll be simple to give the screws a twist, or give their threads a dab or Permatex Blue paste on installation. PM me if you have questions about the quirks I found on installation. By the way, your OEM dashboard looks about the same as mine did.
